#40DaysOfGiving -- Week Three
On July 18, 2019, Equality North Carolina celebrated its 40th anniversary. That date marked 40 years of fighting for equal treatment for LGBTQ folks under the law through life-changing legislative reform.
As we close out this significant year we want to go out with a bang with all of you who make this work possible. Beginning on Nov. 22, Equality NC will celebrate #40DaysOfGiving. Each day we will post a fact about Equality NC and share an opportunity for our supporters to give back to ENC and the communities we serve. From restaurant nights to drag shows to shopping at your favorite retailers, join us as we celebrate this season of giving by celebrating each other. Check back to this page for a continually updated listing of events. From the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you, thank you for all the love, support and kindness you’ve shown Equality NC and the communities we serve over the past 40 years. 12/9, Monday -- Charlotte Chipotle Fundraiser
Who doesn't love Chipotle? Make dinner a selfless act by joining ENC for a fundraiser on Dec. 9! Bring the flyer below, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you're supporting ENC and 33% of the proceeds will be donated to our organization! This is a great opportunity to support the work of ENC while feeding your family with an inexpensive meal.
12/10, Tuesday -- Money & Date, Human Rights Day
12-10 is Human Rights Day. In honor of this important date and our ongoing work surrounding human rights, will you donate $12.10 to support our efforts in the year to come?
12/11, Wednesday -- ENC's History and Future
We've been around for four decades. A lot happens over the course of 40 years, and we have so much planned for the years to come. Keep your eyes peeled to your inbox for a message from Executive Director Kendra R. Johnson about the history and future of ENC.
12/12, Thursday -- ENC Restaurant Night: Mellow Mushroom (Raleigh)
